Wikia search is closing after one year

Jimmy Wales, co-founder of the world encyclopedia Wikipedia, announced Tuesday that Wikia Search , the search engine project community will close its doors after one year of operation.
Bearer of so much hope for the online search, Â Wikia Search has not lived up to expectations with only 10,000 visitors a month who do not return on this project.
Jimmy Wales says the project is not dead but may well start again once the weather will be more favorable and users will be willing to accept a new search engine. Too bad the Wikia Search project has not found its audience, a project we wanted to succeed, or at least bear fruit after many months of preparation! (Wikia search, stay tuned)
