At the major conference Intel, which was held yesterday at Computex, the founder presented with an ultraportable Asus at $ 199 for all markets.
This PC is actually not restricted to emerging markets, it will be available in all markets, even in the richest countries. The idea is to offer an alternative to the OLPC laptop, slightly more expensive, but capable of hosting Windows XP as well as Linux. Only difference, this ultraportable seems less reinforced the $ 100 laptop of the OLPC project, designed to withstand environmental conditions very uncomfortable.
