Swisscom seeks acquisitions of small and medium size

ZURICH (Reuters) - Swisscom plans to make acquisitions of small and medium size next year, said Schloter, the director general of the first telecom operator in Switzerland in an interview with the daily Handelszeitung. "We will address in 2007, here and abroad, with projects small and medium size that will generate a cash flow positive after two or three years, "said the Swiss newspaper Schloter going to publish this interview in its Wednesday edition. Schloter declined to comment on the progress of discussions on the acquisition of 25% stake in Vodafone's UK branch of Swisscom mobile, announced Wednesday by the public group.
