When Safari rebels
After reading an article on the release of Safari 3.1 and hit promotion launched by Apple to say that Safari "is" the best browser in the world, one can only download it to try this new version so that's what I did it and it tells me that Firefox will still be THE default browser on my computer.
First disappointment, after the installation has run, you can not cancel it, I'm click cancel 3, 4 or 5 times but nothing happens, it goes without worrying about my cliques ![]()
2nd disappointment is the display sites, it is not the point, think of the better side of Apple, I feel that sites are a little blurry compared to the display on Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera, I present below two screen-printed, one with Firefox and the other with Safari 3.1!
However much they wanted to impose their browser but I think they'll win a lot this time! For information, when you install an Apple product (iTunes, QuickTime, ...) a little program called Apple Software Update is installed and also that you then proposed to update those products whose box of Safari 3.1, which is checked to download and install the browser not to mention of course the famous Bonjour folder that is installed Programs Files folder, like the latter, you can always delete data with different methods on this article .
Edition: 3rd point, when you first start Safari, like every browser, it asks what he becomes by default, then I refused to let Firefox as default browser but it's not the case, in secret, Safari starts as the default browser again, Thank you Apple

I'd try this new version before but good habit of Firefox does not already playing in his favor ..
Being slightly allergic to Apple, I do not venture with Safari.
¢ for me thanks to the Clear Type font smoothing, IE7 is the visual reference. I find too FF2 "aliased" to borrow a phrase from one of my favorite areas: the video games.
It is true that FF2 is a bit aliased compared to IE7, but I saw navigation is more optimized for Firefox, I can not imagine using another browser for now, I tried Safari to see what happens gives concrete after the flick, but Apple's marketing is not won for them, just with "Hello" ...
Already flaws Safari 3.1 for Windows version ..

Lunthear thank you for the link, I also noticed that Bonjour can be removed from the config panel / add & remove programs (on windows) but it remains to be seen since I saw it after I removed "Hello "manually!
