One day while surfing the net I read an advice I saved in a notepad, I remerci the webmaster of the site where I read this board and I share it with you:
When you try to understand the examples of a site and you want to make a similar script but for your needs, do not start at 0. Start by trying the example at home by copying it as is, make sure it works, and then change it bit by little bit by testing each time, in order to achieve what you want. That goes for php but for any other language or problem you are tackling.
