The audience measurement institute Médiamétrie has just released the latest figures from Internet audience in France for the month of November 2006. First lesson: the online population grew 10% between November 2005 and November 2006. More than half of the population aged 11 and over, or 28.37 million French citizens, were connected in November 2006. In addition, 19,691,000 Internet users have broadband access at home. In the Top 30 most visited sites in France, Google prances lead with 18,728,000 unique visitors in November 2006. The search engine is in second place followed by MSN / Windows Live, which accounts for its share 13,921,000 unique visitors. In third place we find the site operator's Free with 13,366,000 unique visitors. Yahoo ranks only fifth with 10.331 million unique visitors, behind Orange account 13279000.

An audience that grew by 28% compared to November 2005, 3.5 million unique visitors in one year.
