Offline Gmail: Use Gmail without Internet connection
Waited for some time, the offline mode of Gmail has finally arrived. Using Google Gears, Internet messaging client from Google, Gmail now offers the ability to check email and send while offline.
To operate, the offline mode of Gmail stores emails received on the hard disk of the user through the features of Google Gears, and remembers to send emails. Thereafter, as soon as it is an internet connection, the webmail is responsible for sending the messages to be transmitted quickly.
As usual, Google provided this mode of Gmail offline for U.S. users but you can still turn your Gmail account into a U.S. account, simply go to "Settings" and choose English (U.S.) for the language since the "General" until the launch of this feature for French users.
To take advantage of this feature requires that Google Gears is installed on your browser to install it, simply click here ![]()
