Critical Alert on Yahoo Messenger, Windows version

Yahoo has just correcting a critical flaw related to its instant messaging software Yahoo Messenger Windows version. The Internet group recommends updating to download a version of its communication. This warning especially for users who have not yet upgraded to 8.1 on Windows PCs since November 2.
The Danish company Secunia, which specializes in finding flaws, considers this flaw as 'highly critical', which corresponds to the level of dangerousness 4 (on a scale which has 5) according to its own criteria.
This vulnerability involves an unspecified error related to Microsoft ActiveX control. Originally, this set of Microsoft applications can enrich a web page of complex functions executable only on a Windows computer.
But, in the case of the fault related to the instant messaging tool for Yahoo, it could be used to take control of the machine to cause a buffer overflow (buffer flow).
